[Music] just wrapped up uh some hoops with the with the guys fun games first time i’ve gone back to back knee is cooperating so hopefully that lasts oh they’re drying uh grind some coffee here around there got a podcast in about a couple hours i’m gonna be recording an interview as well for the channel somebody’s going to interview me that’s not the basketball court by the way it’s up there somebody’s going to interview me and i’m going to try to give my thoughts on just about everything we’ll put it out in long form and in segments as well continue to try to keep people informed another beautiful day we’re here in taxice in malacatos valley ecuador grabbing the coconut here in town you mind being on camera on camera my boy said no camera no camera here uh monday morning sounded like a coconut after basketball if you’re at the market vilcabamba people having a little lunch i’m going to get a juice here squeeze a carrot like a carrot beet type juice and of course there’s lots of fruits it’s really like a dollar dollar fifty something like that one of the perks of ecuador cost of the produce amazing quality of the food you see the cow there oh there’s more cows up there [Music] we got the family here we’re going to look for a dog of ours we have three dogs um two of them we rescued off the street and one of them who actually has puppies has been missing for more than probably about 24 hours or so we looked for last night and uh kind of highlights one of the underbellies you know of ecuador it’s like we we do our best to present a balanced perspective you know on this channel we highlight the good we highlight the bad we highlight what we love we highlight what we don’t aren’t so much fans of and um ma uh the lady who works for us who helps in the house and with the baby she found she said there was a dog it’s not our dog but there was a dog that was dead down by the down by the highway here where we’re walking to and um this is something that happens in ecuador like people poison dogs um it’s very hard to understand why it’s definitely one of the underbelly aspects here so we’re thinking our dog may have been poisoned we don’t know we’re going to look for her again yeah you’re walking with your bike buddy and uh but yeah that is something that happens here you know it’s not not like people’s dogs die all the time or anything like that we’ve had dogs you know our oldest dog is seven or eight we’ve had her for one you know since we got here but um yeah so fingers crossed some for a miracle but it’s looks like dog may have been poisoned all right wednesday morning getting ready to play some ball out here got a busy day ahead of me after this [Music] [Music] all right just wrapped up some hoops headed to vilcabamba we’re gonna record um a not a full podcast but an interview is the word on um with a health insurance expert put that out on youtube so you guys can check that out um a local local english-speaking expert on expat health insurance so check that out um and then uh let’s see i think i have well yeah i gotta record my show awakening consciousness with just patcher and jesse after that then i gotta head out to guattuche um to talk about the electric on my house that we’re building out there and then i got a session with some sort of quantum healer lady really excited she’s really cool um heard a lot of good things about her i do know her as well personally i’m at five and then i’ll be heading home about to jump in the river and rinse off before my interview it’s like a thousand little butterflies here i don’t know why the camera is picking them up all right that was nice water is frigid but this is one of the cleanest rivers in the world um in san pedro vilcabamba just a couple minutes from vilcabamba it actually gets pretty deep there you can kind of jump in and swim around a little bit another beautiful day so found out today that the tomate arbol that i got growing out on my property in loja is ready for its first harvest we just have a little bit climbing experiment about a hectare of tomate arbol’s juicing tomato translates to tree tomato but it’s not really all that similar to tomatoes more like a fruit i guess tomato technically might be a fruit but more like a fruit you cut it in half empty out the liquid strain it make juice out of it it’s pretty popular in latin america um anyways apparently i’ve got about 15 quintales of uh tomato i’ve already ready for harvest so i’ll start having tomorrow hopefully i can get out there tomorrow and take a look see how that’s going but um exciting stuff we’ve got we’ve got planned about 40 hectares of organic agriculture we’re going to be doing out out on my property out there in lohan um will be probably the one of if not the largest producer of organic vegetables in the area so that’ll be fun and uh definitely going to expand the tomate as well and um yeah good times having a green juice here at one of the many restaurants surround the park typical well not super typical it’s actually the rain just started rolling through it was beautiful and sunny earlier out here with milton dropping off some materials making progress making progress you guys think a little mango tree there just the maestro work there so this is gonna be it’s gonna be basically a glass house and this will have this like exposed brick here this brick will be covered but then the whole all that exterior glass delivering some materials really looking forward right this this place we’re building is like not even big enough for our family it’s kind of funny we’ve had less kids when we started planning this but um just kind of this opportunity that came up it’s like 100 emf free here there’s not even cell signal it’s still close it’s you know 17 minutes or something from boca bomba and it’s just beautiful i just love this spot by the river just an opportunity came up to get the land really cheap and figured why not grab it build a little house we may end up selling it we may end up keeping it as just somewhere you know to hang out from time to time but we will live here for at least some months probably but what i love about it i mean the fruit trees and the privacy and i like that it’s kind of set down below and all that but it’s also really just nice to have the river here as well [Music] and it’s also the end of the road like this is just a walking path this way past the property so i’m just about one minute from town even less this is an lto actually having a pretty nice house for sale on here but some beautiful views i go in here and uh have an appointment with some kind of quantum healer i don’t really know what she does but i’m excited to find out well that was an absolutely amazing session that i had released a lot of stuff very good very very good it’s just amazing how the physical body is so connected to the spiritual body or the emotions or you know the stuff that you stuff that you uh hold you know you hold you hold your emotional stuff like in your body and that causes at least for me like all the physical stuff um so yeah here at the pizza place grabbing a few portions brick oven pizzas beautiful pizza um italian lady runs it talked about it before but definitely definitely a cool place to check out if you ever go on but it’s called cassette out here in san joaquin at uh buddha nanash’s you guys saw that oh look at this man i gotta show that hey what’s happening that’s just perfect [Laughter] brother man you guys saw them maybe on an interview we did so check that out this beautiful man hanging upside down here at the sushi place just wrapped up some flag football sushi place is really nice really friendly people too lovely friday night no more ridiculous restrictions my daughter’s over there hanging out with her bud and her friend and um a little bit of barbecue tomorrow headed out to aloha to check on that’ll be fun pick up some sneakers do a couple of things aloha and we have a little barbecue in the afternoon we got some frisbee a couple of things going on on sunday all right saturday morning heading to vilcabamba do a little shopping at the organic market pick up a bunch of stuff for the barbecue today i got this little guy with me yes he is a boy no we have not cut his hair thinks he’s all grown up in the front seat he’s very happy i don’t know is that dangerous probably but uh we only have one car seat right now we gotta set up for the newborn gotta get another one and uh you know what it’s one of the things i love about ecuador is that they don’t have all that nonsense and i’m getting trouble for little stuff and blah blah blah so that is cool all right i will take you guys with me as best i can today headed to loja bbq later got a bunch of stuff going on show you the hopefully with somebody arbo a little bit of land that we’re doing this project on agriculture that it’ll eventually be residential healing center world-class farm-to-table restaurant blah blah blah very cool very cool project that we are just in the beginning phase of and um yeah here in malacatos picking up some meat for the barbecue later some homemade sausage some uh beef or some hamburger meat as well some chickens it’s a nice little store they do a lot of natural stuff heading out got a big uh just finished up shopping at the organic market got a ton of stuff in there super cheap these things are a little bit more slightly more but come on buddy slightly more expensive than vilcabamba if i wanted to go to aloha save a few bucks but still incredibly cheap stuff that you’re paying like four or five dollars for in the states you’re getting for like 25 to 50 cents vegetables and all that come on buddy walk with daddy and uh and um yeah so i’m off to do a little more shopping i’m trying to get trying to get out of here aloha all right i’m in loja i don’t even like coming aloha anymore because of this all the mask stuff i’m just not a fan of it i don’t put a mask on i got a little bandana on at the moment best i can do anyways i need some basketball shoes this is super maxie there supermarket and then a little sporting goods store here see what i can find all right that was a success takeaway for me there is the trade deals have worked because prices have come down a lot when i was uh buying stuff here you know i got here in 2013 bought things at these stores that store in particular the prices were so outrageous because the import taxes i just i wouldn’t even do it i bought like a couple of things and never buy anything again i bought everything from the states when i would go home i just kind of got into that habit but you know prices are very much more normal now so that’s cool all right out here at the land in loja with uh my buddy rasa and talking about plans healing center farm to table restaurant we’re getting agriculture going making some plans out here the air is just incredible forward to win we got a lot of beautiful people living out here doing cool stuff a little little kind of like gals gulch approach but 5d how does that sound [Music] yeah right and and look everybody’s got their path and there’s different levels of everything and [Music] so we’re out of time i’m gonna get home to barbecue my friend has to do something as well at three o’clock unfortunately we’re not gonna make it to the section of tomate which is way over there you just see it right there but i’m not gonna make it there today i’ll have to come back in the next couple of days and check it out oh it feels so good out here i can’t wait to get all these projects started well they are started but to get them really going and us land is just it’s magical you just come out here you feel you feel just incredibly good and it’s got all these vortexes and it’s uh it’s special so yeah we’re gonna do it we’re gonna do it the river is down there you can’t see it but it’s way borders in the river it’s got a couple of lagoons five streams a brazilian springs all the air comes out of the east which is the rain forest there’s even animals uh we have rainforest animals here like there’s monkeys and parrots [Music] what else yeah all kinds of stuff you wouldn’t expect at this altitude in this climate because it’s a cool ish climate it’s um you know we’re up here around 7000 feet and uh it’s quite a bit warmer than like cuenca for example but it’s it’s quite a bit cooler than let’s say vocab but the idea is to like make contact in the dance or with the person like the union type thing i haven’t heard that word hold on i can’t really hear you it’s just loud sunday i’m about to have a little lunch some goat i’ll show it to you in a minute so one of my favorite meets for sure just did an interview with a medical doctor from egypt who makes his home here in the aloha vilcabamba area has a clinic um not a clinic yeah i guess it’s a clinic a little private practice set up in bill cabana he’s a surgeon oncologist treats cancer a lot does some alternative stuff as well in addition to being an md so check for that interview on the channel and i think we’re gonna head out it’s raining a little bit we’re gonna head out check the progress on the house and then we got a little a little bit of ultimate frisbee later today all right we came to check the progress on the house walls are continuing to go up all right just wrapped up some ultimate frisbee i had no idea how fun this sport was oh it’s so fun running around i spent years with a bad knee finally can run around again now the kids are messing around after the game having a little fun guys are getting out of here sun’s going down it’s about 6 20. it’s getting dark tomorrow we got some hoops time goes on [Music]
